Support from individuals, corporations, and foundations enabled us to provide vital shelter and supportive services to more than 1,200 homeless individuals last year.  Moving people from the temporary state of homelessness into sustainable housing is a goal that we embrace and that benefits the entire community. 

With our move into the new Robert J. Delonis Center, we have expanded our hours of operation to a full 24-hour, 365-day per year facility- an increase of 60%.  More than just enhancing emergency shelter, this expansion is critical to our ability to help individuals experiencing homelessness.  We do this by being there when they most need us, by reaching out to them while they are on the streets, and by expanding the services that are critical to their securing income and housing.  This substantial increase in our hours of operation and available services has increased our operating expenses by 20%, a small price to pay for such a significant additional benefit to the community.
