Health Clinic

The Shelter Association's health clinic is available for all of our clients at no cost.  It is staffed by a nurse practitioner and supported by volunteer physicians and psychiatrists from the University of Michigan.  Additional support for patients and assistance with insurance applications is available through Medical Case Managers.  Donated supplies and medications are used whenever possible.  In fiscal year 2005, the clinic had more than 2400 visits.
